Craig Storti
Intercultural Trainer and Consultant
Director of Communicating Across Cultures
For over 35 years I have been designing and delivering workshops in intercultural communications, global cultural competence, cross-cultural adaptation, cultural diversity, and doing business across cultures for clients in the public and private sector. One-day and half-day seminars educate participants in their own cultural tendencies and instincts, contrast them with those of the target cultures they deal with, and offer specific strategies and actual practice to improve cross-cultural interactions.
For speaking engagements I am represented by The Washington Speakers’ Bureau and The European Speakers’ Bureau. I have written for a number of national magazines and major newspapers, including The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, and the Chicago Tribune. I have lived more than 10 years overseas, with extended stays in Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhist cultures and speak French, Arabic, and Nepali.
Workshop titles include:
Global Cultural Competence for Business Professionals
Understanding and Working with… Country-specific workshops
India and the West: Improving Understanding and Productivity in Offshore Partnerships
Effective Global Teams
Managing A Culturally Diverse Workforce
Living and Working Abroad
Repatriation—The Art of Coming Home
I am also available as a consultant to help companies and organizations become more competitive and successful in the global business environment.
